Ellington is the co-founder and managing partner of Global Battery Solutions (GBS) where his team creates innovative battery and energy storage technology solutions. GBS works with large OEMs such as Volvo, General Motors, and Toyota.

He is passionate about innovating products and solutions that benefit humankind. He has developed the i-model innovation™ platform. The i-model innovation platform is a foundational learning tool that anyone can employ to innovate next-generation advanced technology solutions. The i-model innovation platform converges at the intersection of quantum computing, molecular engineering, and artificial intelligence. The i-model innovation platform makes elementary the three (3) scientific disciplines and therefore releases the free flow of interdisciplinary thought that spurs disruptive innovations.

Most recently, Ellington led the successful partnership of Global Battery Solutions and Dynamic Manufacturing where the combined companies have over 950 employees and more than $200 million in annual revenues.
