Marshall Girtman, Domestic and International Sales Specialist for Special Mine Services Inc., looks for innovative ways to accomplish goals, rather than seeing blockages.

Beginning his professional career as a chemist analyzing results for pharmaceuticals, coatings, and coal mines, Marshall applies those same precision skills to help his company and customers find the best connection for their success—in manufacturing, production, entertainment, and other industries.

Having served in the Army for eleven years, his global experiences give understanding to cultural differences, logistical challenges, personal management, and team development. This valuable experience allows him to strategize with minute details in order to accomplish goals and overcome challenges.

In Marshall’s current role, his unique set of skills and experiences continue to grow and develop business domestically and internationally. While the mining industry appears to be declining to many, he has used a different perspective to successfully capitalize on international opportunities, which is leading to continued growth and expansion of products and business opportunities.
