Timo Lukkarinen

Horizon Educational is a highly networked educational arm of Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies, a Singaporean fuel cell company.

The educational product line covers for demonstrational and educational purposes, hydrogen fuel cells, ethanol fuel cells, metal hydrides, electrolysers, wind power, solar panels, super capacitors etc. with full curriculum in Physics, Chemistry & Earth Sciences for middle school, high school and college + university levels.

Timo is also the Founder & President of the non-profit organization Hydrogen Horizon NFP, with sole focus on awareness, promotion and development of STEM & technical skills at late secondary and early post-secondary education. The leading engineering program (H2AC) is designed to allow high school students to acquire the skills necessary to take a custom-built RC-car from the conceptual and design stages through prototyping, experimentation, advanced manufacturing and racing. The program is intertwined with leading industry professionals who provide access to high-tech tools, enabling students to develop career relevant skills over the course of this program.

Timo has a wide background in sales & business development from FMCG, services, government sector (trade promotion), and high value assets. Most lately as VP of sales and business development at the private air carrier NetJets, a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Timo received his MSc. Business Administration (Strategy & Management Control) from Linkoping University, Sweden. He has studied and worked in a majority of countries in Latin America, North America and Europe. Timo speaks Swedish, Finnish, Spanish and English.
